My mom didn't have it in our pantry, but my aunt did and I was fascinated by the petite jar (the label has cleaner lines and has more visual 'punch' now, than way back ... when!) :) I miss the artful labels, they are all so beautiful!Mari @ Once Upon a Platehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16780341844995085098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-465351871420690628.post-65222716770106738632012-11-04T13:03:35.080+01:002012-11-04T13:03:35.080+01:00Great packaging...I love wandering in stores in Eu...Great packaging...I love wandering in stores in Europe and looking at great tins and packaging.....the North American packaging is boring. But what matters is that it's a great box. My current favourite bits of packaging are harissa tins, jars and tubes - Harissa Du Cap Bon with its lighthouse emblem is in the lead for me at the moment. A local jeweller is selling a marmite jar with a solid silver lid, but somehow I think I'll stick to more everyday packages.Phil in the Kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15904292856978631382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-465351871420690628.post-63286471055278586212012-10-24T18:07:26.173+02:002012-10-24T18:07:26.173+02:00That is what is so wonderful about travelling, rig...That is what is so wonderful about travelling, right?Cuisine de Provencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14179654559093072126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-465351871420690628.post-76801500607882280872012-10-24T18:06:24.475+02:002012-10-24T18:06:24.475+02:00Thank you Jaz for telling me about l'épice Rab...Thank you Jaz for telling me about l'épice Rabelais, so into the terrine de Noël it goes!Cuisine de Provencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14179654559093072126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-465351871420690628.post-62366812714850084482012-10-24T15:28:55.467+02:002012-10-24T15:28:55.467+02:00grocery stores and market are the first places i b...grocery stores and market are the first places i bee line to when traveling. the epices Rabelais is a spice combo used often in pate's and to rub on roasts. it is also said to have digestive benefits. i love your collection!jaz@octoberfarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17249328159454897124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-465351871420690628.post-72717280677490600212012-10-24T15:15:33.912+02:002012-10-24T15:15:33.912+02:00I love wandering through grocery stores and market...I love wandering through grocery stores and markets in the different parts of France and other countries we visit.
