It's a Dog's life: Public Transport in Provence

Public transport in Provence is hard to come by. From Vaison there is a bus in the morning to Orange and Avignon that takes forever because it stops at every little village along the way and that is about it. I always warn over optimistic tourists to better rent a car if they want to explore Provence. So you can imagine my enchantment when I went to the farmer's market this morning and saw that things are getting better - at least for dogs, that is.....

  2. We are asked frequently by guests who are coming to stay at our house in Sablet if they really need to rent a car. Like you, I tell them they will miss so much of Provence without a car. I love your picture and glad to see these dogs have taxi service figured out. Have a great weekend.

  5. this is the best photo ever, I've been searching for something to attach behind my bike for Ebéne, perhaps we should think of designing something like this, so deluxe...and too cute!

  6. How true. We rented a car while in Provence this summer and went everywhere. It is so funny that you have a picture of the dogs. My husband did a special video of the "Dogs of Provence". I have never seen so many dog lovers while there.
