I am Charlie, you are Charlie, we all are Charlie

A heartfelt thank you to all my wonderful Cuisine de Provence guests who sent very moving messages of support during these trying times in France. All of you said: We are Charlie!
Last night we took part in a silent march through Vaison la Romaine.
I am proud of my town and happy to see how many, regardless of their faith, political conviction or nationality took part.

  1. It is shocking - I am glad your town is turning out in support of them.

    1. Thank you Alicia, today there are more and more marches all over France like the one in Vaison.

  2. Oh Barbara, it's been awful to hear the news updates from Paris! I also would be proud of your town and it's a good reminder to everyone. It doesn't really matter what your religion or political views are. Thinking of you!

  3. thank you for expressing my feelings, too.
    "Ich bin Charlie" from Berlin,

  4. When yahoos who are zealots and idiots try to take away freedoms thru death and destruction one must be strong and courageous..My husband is jewish I could never live in a country where many attack jews and kill others for the right to live and free speech---that being stated......Brave on Cuisine de Provence, France is a lovely country and not deserving of the terror, bloodshed of those crazy terrorists, I say I am Charlie from America and pray that France gets those terrorists soon. I mean no disrespect to France it is a wonderful country, just a few want to try and terrorize the many wonderful human beings who reside there, I hope they get those you know whats soon, I pray for Israel to send help to your country to get them soon.PEACE to you and the country of FRANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. We are all indeed Charlie - but where is all this leading, I wonder? Thinking of you xxx

  6. A little late but, Je suis Charlie. Still thinking about all of you. But it is also about thinking of all of us. We are in this together. You have my support.
