Springtime in Provence?
Would you believe what I found in my garden this morning? The first daffodil of the season! Although it has been unseasonally warm to have daffodils flowering on January 5th is ridiculous, even in Provence. But kind of nice, too!
How beautiful...in January. We have had our second night of frost in Florida. This weather is so unusual. Also, it is going to be very warm in just a few days again. Hugs to you. Susan
ReplyDeleteWith the crazy weather all around the world I can't help but wonder what is going to pop up next..???
ReplyDeleteIt is very early for these to be blooming. We are also having unseasonably warm weather here. It is expected to be cooler tomorrow. I'm not ready to see things bloom yet. That would mean I'd have to work in the yard again which I love doing, but I need a break.
ReplyDeleteThe flower, my favorite, is beautiful though.
Wow, daffoldils? How cool - I wish I was there - it will definitely be several months before we see that yellow popping up!
ReplyDeleteI guess it's global warming. We were supposed to have a warm winter and we are just thawing out from a deep freeze. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice sign of spring to come although winter has hardly arrived. I am sure it brought a smile to your face to see that yellow daffodil.
ReplyDeleteI have some in bud, very odd weather we are having. I am just worried as to when winter will really start and then how long it may go on for!!! Diane
ReplyDeleteWeather seems to be off everywhere!
ReplyDeleteWe're having dry, sunny days, instead of wet and dreary.
Our trees and bulbs are confused too.
